The op-yop toy was originally marketed in the 1960′s by Kramer Design. The toy was successful and sold well over 2 million pieces as noted in Time Magazine in 1968.
After the fad trailed off into history, the tools were put away and forgotten. In 2010, they were offered for sale on craigslist and that is where our founder Darcy’s story begins.
